Clear Color (the “App”) is operated by BrushLabs LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Clear Color mobile application.

Overview

Clear Color is designed to help you identify, compare, and extract colors using your device’s camera or images you choose. All color picking, comparison, and image processing happens entirely on your device.

We do not upload or store your camera feed, images, or color data on our servers.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Camera images or video
• Photos or images you load into the app
• Colors you pick, compare, or save
• Palettes you create or export
• Personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or contacts

Camera and Image Access

Clear Color requires access to your device’s camera in order to:

• Pick colors from a live camera view
• Freeze the camera image and select colors
• Load an image from your device and select colors

All image analysis and color extraction is performed locally on your device. Images are not sent to us or to any third parties.

You may revoke camera access at any time through your device’s system settings.

Palette Saving and Export

Clear Color allows you to save and export color palettes (for example, as images or files). All palette data is generated and stored locally on your device unless you choose to export it.

When you export a palette, the data is saved or shared according to the destination you choose (such as your device’s file system or another app). We do not receive or store exported palettes.

Analytics (PostHog)

We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics to help us understand how the app is used and to improve features, performance, and stability.

The analytics data may include:

• App interactions and feature usage
• App version and general device information
• Anonymous usage patterns

Analytics data does not include camera content, images, colors, palettes, or personally identifiable information.

Analytics data is processed in accordance with PostHog’s privacy practices.

Data Storage

Clear Color stores app data such as selected colors, palettes, and settings locally on your device. We do not provide user accounts or cloud-based data storage for this app.

If you uninstall the app, locally stored data is removed according to your device’s operating system behavior.

Third-Party Services

Aside from analytics (PostHog), Clear Color does not share data with third parties.

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data.

Children’s Privacy

Clear Color is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Choices

• You can disable camera access at any time via your device’s system settings
• You can limit or block analytics tracking using system-level privacy controls where available

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
